About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow into management and other positions. Drivers also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, in person and over the phone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to work around varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, with near-, mid-, far-, and night-vision capabilities and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses, including through adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, and potentially five or more flights of stairs.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
