About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver orders by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, and occasional stair or ladder climbing.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers by phone and in person to process orders.
- Unload and move deliveries, stock shelves, and carry supplies as needed.
