Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery schedules
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine customer service orientation
Knowledge of local roads and familiarity with navigation tools or GPS systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers within assigned routes
Navigate local roads and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and excellent customer service
Communicate professionally with customers, address inquiries, and handle special delivery requests with a friendly demeanor
Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and any delivery notes or exceptions
Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Lift, carry, and carefully handle packages of varying sizes, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record
Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization's commitment to quality service
Organize and plan efficient routes to maximize deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption and travel time
Respond professionally to customer feedback and resolve delivery-related concerns with empathy and transparency
