About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and precise hand-eye coordination for rapid and accurate movements. The job requires entering orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen. Work conditions involve exposure to varying weather, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting cases up to 60 pounds, carrying items like large cans or pizza sauce, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching (up, down, forward). Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, manipulation of dough, using a pizza peel and rolling cutter, pinching for box assembly, and grasping various items. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. A key responsibility is delivering product by car to the customer's door, and distributing flyers or marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area. Delivery personnel must navigate various sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas and sides, walking to and from the delivery vehicle, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions include exposure to adverse weather during deliveries and driving, and require far vision and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
