About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders while also performing general store team-member duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least 2 years of driving history, or 1 year if over age 19.
Must meet company standards and have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing and pulling trays, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder.
Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather, changing temperatures, cramped spaces, and areas with food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near and mid-range vision and depth perception, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
