About The Position

Culligan Total Water is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for their Madison, WI location. This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Total Water is an Employee Owned business that offers a comprehensive benefits package. The role involves delivering water and salt to customers, ensuring safe driving practices, maintaining equipment, communicating with customers, optimizing delivery routes, managing truck inventory, and recording transactions using a handheld computer.

Requirements

• Customer service experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to read a map.
• High School Equivalency required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds
• Ability to move 250 pounds assisted

Nice To Haves

• Technical experience and mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Delivery experience helpful
• Experience driving a large service vehicle preferred.
• Knowledge of the geographic area helpful.
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Delivery of water and salt to customers.
• Practicing safe driving and following safety procedures.
• Checking equipment for proper operation and reporting any problems.
• Communicating with customers regarding their delivery.
• Mapping the delivery, updating delivery instructions to ensure efficiencies.
• Maintaining shop and inventory.
• Loading, organizing and managing truck inventory.
• Using a handheld computer to record transactions.
• Preparing daily logs of activity.
• Driving a large delivery vehicle.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of your vehicle
