About The Position

The Delivery Expert position involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. This role also includes taking inventory, cleaning equipment and the facility, and delivering products to customers. Training is provided on the job. The position requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing, comprehend instructions, and perform basic math calculations. Essential skills include eye-hand coordination for precise movements, order entry via computer or touchscreen, and the ability to navigate various environments while carrying product. The role involves exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, and potential hazards like hot surfaces and sharp edges. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling trays, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists, as well as pinching and grasping. Team members may use pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. For drivers, additional duties include delivering product by car and to the customer's door, and delivering flyers/door hangers. This requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for drivers include navigational abilities to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying product. Physical demands for drivers include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages during delivery, driving within a designated area, and walking between the store, vehicle, and customer location. Climbing up to five flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. Drivers are exposed to varying and adverse weather conditions while delivering product, driving, and couponing, and require far vision and night vision for driving.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.

• Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
