About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients from the delivery area into storage and work areas, and prepares products. The role receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, completes related paperwork, and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. The position requires navigating the designated delivery area and a variety of delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
• Ability to deliver by car.
