About The Position

Deliver product to our customers in a safe, professional, and courteous manner; including invoicing and picking up payments from customers as instructed. The schedule is Tuesday-Friday, starting at 5:00 AM, with four 10-hour shifts.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a good record and access to a reliable vehicle.
Demonstrate good communication skills with high levels of professionalism.
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a vehicle and deliver assigned orders.
Maintain vehicle.
Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspection; reporting requirements.
Maintains safe vehicle and conditions and protects load by complying with organization policies, procedures, highway rules and regulations.
Maintains appearance of delivery truck by daily cleaning of the inside of the truck.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Manage the Customer Relationship.
If Applicable, collect payment from customers and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoice.
Properly invoice, collecting appropriate signature, and proper documentation of all deliveries.
Performs duties in a safe manner by following established safety rules and regulations.
Work, when assigned, with Salesmen and Merchandisers to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Properly deliver order, putting product away to company standards.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.
Responsibly handle products.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
