About The Position

As a part-time Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on predetermined routes and schedules using a company-provided vehicle. Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met, maintain ethical conduct and patient confidentiality, and use a customer-service mindset to support pharmacy workstations and help prescriptions be filled promptly, safely, and accurately. The role supports deliveries to long-term care facilities and patients’ homes. Omnicare is operating as an independent, standalone organization following its sale by CVS Health, and the person hired will be employed by Omnicare.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state and at the level required to operate the vehicle.
• Ability to drive for long periods.
• Customer service orientation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Previous driving experience as a limo driver, taxi or bus driver, courier, or gig-economy worker.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication, equipment, products, and/or supplies to long-term care facilities or patients’ homes promptly and accurately.
• Load products and materials.
• Maintain the vehicle and alert management to maintenance issues.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
• Follow applicable government regulations, including HIPAA, to protect patient confidentiality.
• Support assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
