About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, occasional climbing, and frequent reaching and hand use.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers and carry them to the customer’s door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers to take and process orders by phone and in person.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and work areas.
