About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, prepares products, stocks ingredients, processes telephone orders, takes inventory, and completes related paperwork. The role also includes cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The driver delivers products by car to customers' doors, distributes flyers and door hangers, and navigates to addresses within the designated delivery area. The position requires customer and coworker communication, order entry, basic arithmetic and monetary-change skills, and the ability to navigate varied delivery sites while carrying products.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate varied delivery sites while carrying product.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area in storage areas, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car to customers' doors.

Read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
