About The Position

The main responsibility of a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver orders to designated locations on time using their own vehicle. Punctuality and honesty are key attributes. Delivery Drivers are also expected to maintain their delivery vehicles, aid in food preparation, take customer orders, perform cleaning duties, and rotate food shipments. They must be knowledgeable about product details and services to assist customers. This role involves working outdoors in various conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and with potentially hazardous materials. The job can be physically demanding, requiring repetitive hand use, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, stooping, and kneeling.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Minimum of two years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read a basic road map.
• Attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency in all aspects of the job.
• Customer focused with strong initiative.
• Cash management skills.
• Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, including no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year.
• No DUI or speeding tickets over 24 mph.
• Must be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle.
• Ability to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and perform other duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to designated locations on time using their own vehicle.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are well maintained before and after the shift.
• Aid in food preparation.
• Take customer's orders.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Rotate food shipments.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone.
• Take orders and collect payments.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment.
• Rotating commissary deliveries.
• Be willing to learn and be comfortable being cross-trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.

Benefits

• Minimum wage at $17.13 per hour.
• Reimbursement for miles driven based on a third party surveyor's recommended reimbursement rate (currently at $.44 per mile).
• Reimbursement for data usage.
• Any credit card/cash tips paid to the driver from the customers.
