About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products to customers safely and on time, verifies orders against quality standards, and provides customer service in person and over the phone. The role also supports store operations through cross-training in product preparation, opening and closing procedures, oven operation, and order packaging. Drivers use a personal vehicle to deliver products and promotional materials.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Proof of liability insurance for the driver and vehicle.
Navigational skills to read maps and locate delivery addresses.
Ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing.
Ability to use a computer-based order entry system.
Ability to meet company standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance.

Responsibilities

Collect cash and credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
Read maps, determine directions, and locate delivery addresses.
Check products for accuracy and quality before delivery, and deliver them safely and promptly.
Ensure the delivery vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections.
Maintain company standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance.
Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
Respond promptly to store phone lines and assist carryout customers.
Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers in person and over the phone.
Use a computer-based order entry system and communicate clearly in speech and writing.
Contribute to a teamwork-oriented, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
Deliver flyers and door hangers using a personal vehicle.
