About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver orders within a designated area and support store operations. Drivers must meet age, licensing, driving-record, insurance, and vehicle requirements. The role includes customer service and navigation, delivery across varied terrain and multi-story buildings, and occasional in-store work such as food preparation and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Pay is $16.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. The position offers opportunities to advance into store management and other roles, including franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation to prove it.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
• Must meet the stated driving-record standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the past five years.
• Must have a safe driving record meeting company standards, access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries, and be listed as an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy. The vehicle must be registered and pass required inspections.
• Must have customer-service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Must have the motor coordination, vision, hearing, depth perception, and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces needed for the stated tasks.
• Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or a ladder occasionally, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Locate addresses using navigation skills and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
• Periodically perform in-store tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload and move product deliveries using a hand truck and stock items on shelves.
• Complete periodic delivery-vehicle inspections under the supervision of franchisees and store managers.
