About The Position
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering food orders to customers in a polite and courteous manner, while also being knowledgeable of the menu. This role requires adherence to specific customer service standards, including the 'customer WOW steps' (Apologize, Give them what they want, Give them something extra). Drivers must also manage cash handling procedures, ensuring they have the correct change and do not carry excessive amounts of money. Vehicle cleanliness and adherence to delivery routing protocols are also key aspects of the job. Additionally, all employees must follow proper procedures for product preparation and safety, including hand washing and completing the Safe Delivery CBT.
Requirements
- Must have $1 in coin change on every delivery.
- Must say “Let me get your change” on every order.
- Not allowed to carry more than $20 while on the clock, including personal money.
- Not allowed to have a pocket knife or any weapon while working.
- Driver vehicles are to be neat and clean and in positive image while working.
- Drivers are not to be routed early or checked in early from delivery.
- Every driver must have done Safe Delivery CBT.
- Every order is to be repeated for accuracy and name and address confirmed.
- Must be in perfect image according to standard.
- Must know and demonstrate customer WOW steps 1) Apologize 2) Give them what they want 3) give them something extra.
Nice To Haves
- All Pizza makers must count peperoni and ham on every order every day no matter the topping amount when ordered
- No one is allowed to clear pizzas before it is ready to place in the oven
- Pizza makers must wash hands prior to making products
