About The Position

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe, professional, and courteous manner. This role includes handling invoicing and collecting payments. The schedule is Tuesday-Friday, starting at 5:00 AM, with four 10-hour shifts. Drivers are also eligible for annual safety incentives.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a good record.
Access to a reliable vehicle.
Demonstrate good communication skills with high levels of professionalism.
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.
Able to use a handcart and pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related area preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a vehicle and deliver assigned orders.
Maintain vehicle by inspecting it before and after use, logging inspections, and reporting requirements.
Maintain a safe vehicle and conditions and protect the load by complying with organization policies, procedures, highway rules, and regulations.
Maintain the appearance of the delivery truck by daily cleaning of the inside.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Manage customer relationships, collect payment from customers, and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoices.
Properly invoice, collect appropriate signatures, and ensure proper documentation of all deliveries.
Perform duties in a safe manner by following established safety rules and regulations.
Work with Salesmen and Merchandisers to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Properly deliver orders, putting product away to company standards.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.
Responsibly handle products.
Perform other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor.
