About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting customers’ orders safely and promptly. They assemble, load, transport, and deliver orders while following assigned routes and road-safety practices. Drivers are expected to be polite, reliable, and thorough in fulfilling orders and providing customers with an impressive experience. Candidates must have clean, reliable transportation with valid insurance. The role also includes supporting restaurant operations when needed, such as keeping delivery and dining areas clean and stocked, washing dishes when no dishwasher is on shift, helping in the kitchen as backup, and occasionally taking phone, counter, or window orders.

Requirements

Own reliable transportation that is kept clean and free of debris, with valid insurance.
Read, understand, and follow a map.
Pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check.
Have a Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate.
Understand and work with numbers.
Follow directions and achieve goals.
Demonstrate strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Follow a schedule, arrive on time, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly with smart hustle.
Communicate effectively with a variety of clientele.
Have two years of driving experience and history if age 18, or one year if age 19 or older.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent; this is a plus but not required.
Customer-service experience.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
Keep the car-top light on during deliveries.
Assemble orders accurately, including extras such as dipping cups and sodas.
Route orders to yourself in the Pulse routing program within one minute of leaving the store.
Move safely and promptly between the store, vehicle, and customers’ doors.
Transport hot and cold items in the appropriate bags.
Load assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for Domino’s delivery.
Drive safely and obey traffic laws while completing assigned deliveries.
Avoid additional stops unless specific permission is granted.
Collect customer payments, provide correct change, and collect signatures for credit- and debit-card transactions.
Track cash and receipts and ensure they balance at the end of the shift.
Use a drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20 and do not keep money in the vehicle.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
Keep the driver area organized, neat, clean, and stocked.
Keep the box hutch and other box-stock areas clean and stocked.
At closing, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
Keep heat bags clean and free of rips and tears.
Sweep regularly and mop when needed; mopping every night is required.
Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
Help cook food and work in the kitchen when necessary, as backup.
Occasionally assist with phone, counter, or window orders.
Perform general store cleaning.
