About The Position
DM Burr is seeking a Part Time School District Delivery Driver for the Oak Park School District. This role involves delivering inter-district supplies, furniture, and equipment to schools, as well as maintaining warehouse organization and performing trash removal. The position offers consistent work schedules, company-provided training, and the opportunity to work with a growing, privately owned building maintenance provider serving the Midwest.
Requirements
- Previous custodial/ janitorial experience.
- GED/High School Diploma
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license (no restrictions)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a DMV check (have a clean driving record) to be approved to drive company vehicles
- Flexible availability
Responsibilities
- Receive work orders and document completion with labor hours
- Safely and securely deliver inter-district supplies
- Safely and securely deliver supplies, furniture & equipment to all schools in the district
- Maintain the warehouse as directed to maintain organization and access
- Perform daily trash removal of obsolete items or equipment as directed
- Other duties as assigned
