About The Position
Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to make deliveries using their own vehicles. Drivers can listen to their own music while driving and earn an hourly wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement. The company is willing to train new hires. Full-time work is available, with flexible schedules; current openings are for drivers who can work opening and/or closing shifts. Tips and mileage are paid at the end of each shift, and hourly wages are paid weekly. Applicants must meet company requirements for driving history, licensing, motor vehicle records, and background compliance. Drivers must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and maneuver a vehicle safely in close quarters and congested traffic. Food or beverage transport experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license; the company does not accept drivers without an officially stated license.
- Have the required verifiable driving history: at least two years for a person who is 18, or at least one year for a person who is 19.
- Have a consistent work history.
- Meet company compliance requirements regarding motor vehicle records, DOT, CSA, and/or criminal background checks.
- Meet the stated driving-record standards: no more than two driving-related violations in the prior two years, no more than three in the prior three years, and no more than one at-fault accident in the prior three years.
- Be free of disqualifying violations, including leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, and eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
- Be able to lift 20 pounds frequently.
- Be able to safely maneuver a vehicle in close quarters and heavily congested traffic areas.
