About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, conducting inventory, and cleaning. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, and using a computer keyboard or touchscreen for order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, food odors, commercial dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, including frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, manipulating a pizza peel, and pinching to assemble boxes. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating adverse terrain such as multistory buildings and private homes while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs. Driving is a primary function, with team members making multiple deliveries per shift. Walking is required between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing up to five or more flights of stairs may be necessary during deliveries. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
