About The Position
Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver by car and carry pizzas and beverages to customers’ doors, and may also distribute flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle for deliveries. The role also includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Work involves exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use. Delivery may involve carrying orders while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs. Driving requires far and night vision.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including carrying deliveries, walking, climbing stairs, and handling store supplies.
Responsibilities
