The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering bakery products to customers efficiently and safely while following company procedures. The role is based in Houston, Texas, and requires operating a heavy or tractor-trailer truck, loading and unloading product, completing delivery documentation, and complying with FMCSA guidelines. Requirements
- At least 2 years of delivery experience.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Ability to operate a 10-speed splitter.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
- Load and unload products using a hand dolly and electric pallet jack.
- Track and document activity in a log.
- Report issues or incidents to the transportation manager.
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
- Follow company policies and procedures for documentation and collecting payments for COD accounts.
- Adhere to all FMCSA guidelines.
