About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to make deliveries using their own car. Drivers receive an hourly wage, paid weekly, along with mileage reimbursement and tips paid at the end of each shift. The company is willing to train new hires. Part-time work and flexible schedules are available; current openings are for drivers able to work rush, late, or closing shifts. Full-time employees may become eligible for health benefits after six months. Applicants must meet the company’s driving-history and driving-record standards to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes. Drivers must have an officially stated license and meet applicable motor vehicle record requirements. The role involves safely maneuvering a vehicle in close quarters and congested traffic and frequently lifting up to 20 pounds.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license; the company does not accept drivers without an officially stated license.
- At least two years of verifiable driving history. For an 18-year-old, proof must cover the two years immediately preceding the MVR evaluation; a learner’s permit period documented by an appropriate governmental authority may count toward driving history.
- Consistent work history.
- Ability to meet company compliance requirements concerning MVR, DOT, CSA, and/or criminal background checks.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds on a frequent basis.
- No more than two driving-related violations in the two years immediately preceding the MVR evaluation, and no more than three in the preceding three years.
- No more than one at-fault accident in the three years preceding the MVR evaluation.
- Applicants are ineligible to drive for Domino’s if they have violations involving leaving the scene of an accident or hit and run, reckless driving, drugs or alcohol, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
