About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering customer orders safely and efficiently while following traffic laws and company safety standards. The role also supports in-store operations by operating equipment, stocking supplies, preparing products as needed, processing telephone orders, and maintaining clean work areas. Drivers communicate professionally with customers and team members, provide customer service, and accurately handle order entry, transactions, delivery records, and related paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete associated paperwork.
• Operate store equipment as directed.
• Stock ingredients and supplies in storage areas, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare products according to company specifications as needed.
• Receive and process telephone orders when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of designated work areas and equipment daily.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members verbally and in writing.
• Process orders accurately over the phone and in person.
• Provide professional customer service and service recovery as needed.
• Comprehend and follow written instructions.
• Process monetary transactions accurately, including calculating change.
• Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division accurately.
• Enter orders using computer keyboards or touch screens.
• Maintain precise documentation of deliveries and transactions.
