About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering food orders to customers in a polite and courteous manner, while also assisting carryout customers. This role requires knowledge of the menu and adherence to customer service standards, including specific steps for handling customer issues. Additionally, drivers must manage cash handling procedures, maintain a positive image, and ensure vehicle cleanliness. All employees are expected to follow proper procedures for food preparation and delivery, including hand washing and order verification.

Requirements

• Must have $1 in coin change on every delivery.
• Must say “Let me get your change” on every order NO EXCEPTION.
• Not allowed to carry more than $20 while on the clock including personal money.
• Not allowed to have a pocket knife or any weapon while working.
• Drivers are not to be routed early or checked in early from delivery.
• Every driver must have done Safe Delivery CBT.

Nice To Haves

• Being in perfect image according to standard.
• Knowing and demonstrating customer WOW steps 1) Apologize 2) Give them what they want 3) give them something extra.
• All Pizza makers must count peperoni and ham on every order every day no matter the topping amount when ordered.
• No one is allowed to clear pizzas before it is ready to place in the oven.
• Pizza makers must wash hands prior to making products.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phone or assisting carryout customers in a polite and courteous manner while being helpful and knowledgeable of our menu.
• Delivering food orders to customers.
• Managing cash handling procedures, including having $1 in coin change for every delivery and stating "Let me get your change" on every order.
• Ensuring driver vehicles are neat and clean and present a positive image.
• Repeating every order for accuracy and confirming name and address.
• Washing hands prior to making products.
• Following only proper procedure for products.
