About The Position
The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver safely and efficiently delivers fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. The role supports on-time delivery, product quality, and a positive customer experience. The driver operates a refrigerated box truck, loads and unloads products, and coordinates with warehouse team members to help ensure order accuracy. The position is part-time and as-needed, with variable hours based on business needs and a 5:00 a.m. start time. Flexibility is required, and local travel is within Brecksville, Ohio delivery areas. The work involves warehouse and refrigerated cooler environments of approximately 34°F, as well as frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing in and out of a truck, extended driving, and moving products weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation is $19.00 per hour. This part-time position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional driving experience operating box trucks; trucks 16 feet or larger are preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification; a CDL is not required.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to use GPS and navigation tools for route management.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment of approximately 34°F, and to frequently stand, walk, bend, climb in and out of a truck, and drive for extended periods.
