About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, and cramped quarters. Team members must be able to sense talking and hearing on the telephone, have near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and pinching to assemble boxes. Team members will use tools and equipment such as pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering product by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the store and customer locations. Climbing up to five or more flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
