About The Position
Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver orders within a designated area and contribute to store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery duties, team members operate store equipment; stock, prepare, and handle products; take and process orders; complete inventory and related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, computer or touchscreen order entry, and working in store areas with varying temperatures, food odors, equipment, and occasional adverse weather.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; near- and mid-range vision and depth perception.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, and occasional climbing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
- Operate store equipment and move ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders and communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Unload and move deliveries using a hand truck, carry supplies, push or pull trays on dollies, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
