About The Position

Domino's is growing and looking to add Delivery Experts to their team. Drivers typically average over $20/hr (Wage + Tips + Mileage reimbursement). Mileage reimbursement and tips are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid out every other Friday. Delivery Experts use their own vehicles and receive an adjustable mileage reimbursement to cover fuel costs and extra for other auto-related expenses. Delivery Experts can choose their own schedule, with flexible part-time and full-time hours available. Drivers have access to cutting-edge technology that makes the safe delivery of Domino's products faster than the competition, leading to more efficient deliveries and more money. Domino's offers promotional opportunities such as Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager, with 90% of Domino's franchise owners having started as delivery drivers.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record (subject to review of Motor Vehicle Report).
Must have 1 year minimum verifiable driving history.
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read/follow maps and locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Use safe driving practices to deliver products within a designated delivery area.
Deliver pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties, which may include navigating 5+ flights of stairs.
Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and well with others, work well under stress, meet strict quality control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make good judgments and decisions.
Distribute flyers and door hangers.
Operate in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
Handle hot surfaces/tools including ovens reaching 500 degrees or higher.
Work with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Perform forward bending at the waist, which is necessary at the pizza assembly station.
Stoop, bend, and crouch occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reach continuously; up, down, and forward, including reaching above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on signs, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
Scoop ingredients, wash dishes, and reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
Use hands continuously for tasks requiring eye-hand coordination, including frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping pizza dough.
Manipulate a pizza peel and use a rolling cutter.
Perform frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
Grasp cans, pizza cutters, pizza peels, and pizza boxes.
Talk and hear on the telephone.
Use depth perception, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Use far and night vision for driving.
