About The Position
The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s Pizza orders and is paid cash nightly, including tips and mileage reimbursement. This role is an opportunity to learn about delivery, customer service, and pizza preparation, and to develop skills for other positions within Domino’s. The work involves customer interactions and in-store tasks, as well as physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, moving trays, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder. Working conditions may include adverse weather, varied indoor temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Proof of liability insurance.
- Positive attitude.
- Customer-service orientation.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances.
- Ability to lift and stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Ability to carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
- Ability to push or pull trays on a dolly, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near and mid-range vision, perceive depth, and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders to customers.
- Perform customer service and contribute to creating Domino’s products.
- Remove trash and perform other outside tasks.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and place supplies on shelves.
- Carry ingredients and supplies between workstations and storage areas.
- Move trays using dollies and occasionally pull trays.
- Occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, or maintenance.
