About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products to customers by car and carries orders to their doors. Drivers may also deliver flyers and door hangers, and may make several deliveries per shift. The role is part of a store team whose duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, completing inventory and paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have at least one year of driving history and a safe, reliable vehicle.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, sit to complete paperwork, and perform occasional stair or ladder climbing.
Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry products, push or pull trays on dollies, and perform repeated reaching, bending, and occasional crouching or squatting.
Have the coordination and hand use needed for precise, rapid movements, including frequent or forceful use of hands, forearms, and wrists.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Have the far and night vision needed for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate delivery areas, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other sites, while carrying products.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Unload and stock product deliveries using a hand truck.
