About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow into management or other positions. In addition to delivery duties, team members perform general store tasks, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and occasionally sit to complete paperwork.
• Ability to lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull trays on dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
