About The Position

The Delivery Driver safely delivers products to customers while following company-approved safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies. The role also supports store operations, including answering phones, preparing food and pizzas, stocking supplies, cleaning, and other maintenance as directed by the manager in charge. Work takes place both outdoors during deliveries and indoors, where there is heat from cooking.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have a safe, well-maintained vehicle with proper insurance coverage.
• Must have a two-year driving record with no more than two violations in two years.
• Must have a great personal image and attitude.
• Must have a clean, undamaged car.
• Must be able to read a map.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws and wearing a seat belt.
• Complete the company-approved safe delivery program.
• Know the delivery area and make a cash drop after every delivery.
• Never leave for a delivery carrying more than $20.00.
• Project a positive image to customers, follow company policies and standards, and handle customer concerns with grace and congeniality.
• Prepare for deliveries by ensuring the vehicle has a full tank of gas, wearing a full uniform, preparing a cartop, and keeping the vehicle in safe, well-maintained condition.
• Notify the safety hotline and the owner and/or supervisor if pressured to drive unsafely.
• Maintain a good driving record and immediately inform the manager of any changes to it.
• Read a map.
• Assist in store operations, including answering phones, making pizzas, preparing food for the makeline, stocking the makeline and soda cooler, folding boxes, preparing box-top and door-hanging coupons, washing surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and other maintenance as directed by the manager.
• Maintain company image standards.
