About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to make deliveries within a designated area while providing customer service. Drivers must use their own insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s driving-history standards. In addition to deliveries, drivers periodically perform in-store tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, stocking, processing orders, and taking inventory. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role pays $16.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Advancement opportunities may include management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
• Driving history must meet the stated limits on violations and at-fault accidents; no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years, and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Must have a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle, be listed as an insured driver on its policy, and ensure the vehicle is registered.
• Must have customer-service, verbal communication, and telephone skills.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including stairs and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct change.
• Must have the motor coordination, vision, depth perception, and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces needed for the work.
• Must be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform the physical tasks described, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Assist with food preparation and other in-store tasks.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and make correct monetary change.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload and move deliveries of ingredients and supplies using a hand truck.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in safe operating condition and participate in periodic vehicle inspections.
