About The Position
McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. If you're a skilled driver with delivery experience and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position with weekly pay, and drivers are home every day with no overnight travel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Valid driver’s license (Class C, depending on vehicle type).
- Clean MVR, must pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs safely.
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently on daily delivery routes.
- Load and unload products for delivery, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain punctual delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Adhere to all McCarthy Tire Service standards and policies.
