About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The position includes general store team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery. Drivers need to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate varied delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Work may involve exposure to changing or adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies and orders, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses within the delivery area, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, communicating with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Carry orders between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
Follow quality control standards and handle monetary change accurately.
