About The Position

Team Wow is seeking a customer-focused Delivery Driver for its Brighton location. The role delivers food orders to customers' homes and businesses, provides accurate and timely service, and uses GPS technology and local knowledge to navigate assigned delivery areas. Drivers handle cash and credit card transactions, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and represent the company professionally. During non-delivery periods, they assist with in-store work such as food preparation, packaging, and cleaning. The role requires adherence to company policies, food safety guidelines, and traffic laws, as well as effective communication and teamwork. Delivery drivers transport products by car and carry orders to customers' doors. They may make several deliveries per shift and navigate varied delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes. The job involves walking, climbing stairs, carrying pizzas and beverages, and exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions. Physical tasks at the store may also include bending, reaching, crouching, and frequent use of hands and arms. Far and night vision are needed for driving.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record for at least one year; the driving record must meet company standards.
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
Navigational skills, including reading maps and locating addresses within the delivery area; familiarity with Brighton.
Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency using computer systems and smartphones for order processing and GPS navigation.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
Time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic food handling knowledge; training will be provided.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Far vision and night vision for driving.
