About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers use an insured vehicle that meets company standards and deliver orders while providing customer service. The role also includes general team-member duties such as preparing products, processing telephone orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position may offer opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Must have at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States and provide documentation of that history.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years; a suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
Within the last two years, must have no more than one violation and one at-fault accident.
Within the last three years, must have no more than two violations and one at-fault accident, and no more than three violations or one at-fault accident overall.
Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations within the last three years.
Must have no serious violations within the past five years; examples listed include drug- or alcohol-related offenses, leaving the scene, failing to report an accident, reckless or careless driving, vehicular homicide, hit and run, speed contests, eluding police, filing a false police report, driving while suspended or unlicensed, and speeding 30 mph or more above the posted limit.
Must meet company safe-driving standards.
Must have customer-service and map-reading/navigation skills, including the ability to locate addresses and navigate adverse terrain.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders verbally, in writing, and by telephone.
Must have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
Must be able to work with hot and cold surfaces, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and varying or adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to use a pizza cutter and pizza peel and handle other listed work aids and equipment.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and provide customer service.
Operate equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, communicating with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Navigate to delivery addresses, including through adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock cases on shelves.
Participate in periodic inspections of vehicles used for business purposes.
