About The Position

Highway Specialties is an established and growing Northwest leader in traffic control safety equipment sales and rentals. As the Delivery Driver Trainee, you will make deliveries and pick-ups to and from our customers and Highway Specialties locations. This role involves safely loading and unloading cargo, making deliveries and pickups, transferring product between locations, and learning the basic operations of all equipment that Highway Specialties rents and/or sells. The trainee will also support the team through organization and communication, provide quick action on time-sensitive issues, and gain product knowledge and industry terms. Additionally, the role includes assisting customers with order pickups and returns, keeping work vehicles clean, reporting maintenance needs, and creating customer relationships.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Clean driving record and ability to be insured
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Have reliable transportation to and from work
