About The Position

Responsive recruiter Jones Welding & Industrial Supply is looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our Thomasville team as a Delivery Driver / Inside Sales & Store Support. This is a hands-on position with a little bit of everything — local deliveries, hot shot deliveries, customer service, warehouse support, and helping around the store.

Requirements

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Good driving record
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working with customers and as part of a team
• Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload products throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

• No CDL required
• Welding knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Previous delivery, warehouse, industrial supply, welding, or customer service experience is also a plus
• A good attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Making local customer and hot shot deliveries in a company vehicle
• Loading and unloading welding supplies, industrial products, and gas cylinders
• Assisting customers at the counter and over the phone
• Pulling and preparing customer orders
• Receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
• Keeping the store, warehouse, and delivery areas organized
• Learning our products and helping customers find what they need
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the Thomasville location running smoothly
