About The Position

Soligent is hiring a Delivery Driver/Distribution Center Specialist to support its Solar Transportation Operations. The role involves safely delivering products to customers in perfect condition and providing friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service. The position is hands-on and also supports distribution center operations, including picking, packing, and loading orders; maintaining accurate inventory; inspecting incoming products; expediting product movement; and keeping the facility tidy. The employee will help develop solutions and actively participate in the company safety program. The role is listed as first shift.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• At least 2 years of recent experience driving 26-foot box trucks and/or flatbeds in a distribution environment.
• Experience driving a forklift in a distribution setting.
• Experience using a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, lift gate, and tarping.
• Ability to interact with customers courteously.
• Recent experience using computer terminals and scanning software to look up information.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry and move heavy equipment and supplies.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, physical screening and DOT Medical Card, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record check.
