Delivery Driver (Conductor/a de Camión Box)
About The Position

We are a triple-bottom-line social enterprise committed to creating launching pads into upwardly mobile careers, especially for people with histories of incarceration or homelessness. The Box Truck Driver drives a company box truck to pick up and deliver laundry to hotel and institutional clients and supports laundry production at our Lynn facility. This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork to ensure quality service from start to finish.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Experience driving 16’, 20’, or 26’ box trucks required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication, following instructions and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with smartphones, mapping apps, and basic computer systems.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Eligibility to obtain a Massport badge preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English or Portuguese/English) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate 16’, 20’, or 26’ box trucks to pick up and deliver hotel and commercial laundry.
- Safely navigate Boston metro routes and maintain accurate delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.
- Lead or assist with inventory counts at customer sites.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle and loading areas.
- Assist in washing, drying, folding, pressing, or sorting laundry when not driving.
- Follow established procedures for equipment operation and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with laundry and delivery team members to ensure seamless workflow.
- Record all work completed in the company’s tracking system.
