About The Position

Looking for Industrial Athletes with food delivery service experience. This position requires a Class A Driver's License and involves no long hauls or over the road driving. Health Benefits start day 1 of employment.

Requirements

  • Class A Driver's License Required - must have for at least 6 months
  • Food delivery service experience
  • Ability to decipher invoices
  • Ability to use a two-wheel hand cart
  • Ability to use a trailer lift gate
  • Ability to recognize customer products
  • Ability to legibly and correctly complete necessary paperwork
  • Ability to collect money and perform basic mathematic equations
  • Ability to maintain minimum company standards in regard to through put, error percentage and on time delivery
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, local area maps, driver handbook, invoices and credit memos
  • Ability to perform Pre / Post trip inspections
  • Ability to consistently complete the entire route working maximum on duty hours allowed by the DOT

Responsibilities

  • Execute basic and advanced driving methods in accordance with the type of equipment used by Southwest Traders and in compliance with all DOT regulations.
  • Perform all delivery functions including deciphering invoices, unloading the correct amount of products, and delivering items into store locations.
  • Use of a two-wheel hand cart.
  • Use of a trailer lift gate.
  • Easily recognize customer products.
  • Legibly and correctly complete necessary paperwork.
  • Collection of money and the ability to quickly perform basic mathematic equations.
  • Perform a daily delivery route routine while following specific customer guidelines for delivery methods.
  • Communicate with various customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain minimum company standards in regard to through put, error percentage, and on-time delivery.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, local area maps, driver handbook, invoices, and credit memos.
  • Perform Pre/Post trip inspections on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Consistently complete the entire route which will require working the maximum on-duty hours allowed by the DOT.
  • Perform required job duties on a daily basis while working under the conditions listed in "Working Conditions".
