About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. This position involves driving a box truck or semi on various routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, or until deliveries are complete, with potential for overtime and schedule changes based on business needs. The role requires maintaining accurate records, performing vehicle inspections, and handling products with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with team lifts or mechanical equipment for heavier items. Drivers will also assist in loading/unloading, communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, and operate a handheld device for delivery fulfillment.

Requirements

Must be 23 years or older (mandatory company policy)
Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
2 years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience (Class A or B) ,and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts, as required
Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
Ability to work overtime as needed
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

Drive a box truck or semi during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day
Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment
When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks when needed
Drive to customer locations to deliver orders in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
Work approx. 8-12 hours/day
Operate a handheld device provided and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management
Perform other job-related tasks and follow any job-related instructions given by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations
