About The Position

Upper Lakes Foods is seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver CDL-A in Northfield, MN. This role involves delivering food products to customers using a tractor trailer, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 per year and is an onsite role within a dynamic team. The company is the largest independent, wholesale food distributor in Minnesota, serving various foodservice operators with a strong focus on customer service.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least one year of driving experience.
Ability to safely transport product using a two-wheel cart where the weight of all products can be up to 500lbs.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 60 pounds.
Familiarity with software for pre-trip inspections and invoice verification.
Ability to maintain delivery schedules.
Comfortable working in diverse weather conditions.
Strong communication skills.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and integrity.
Successfully complete a background check, MVR, pre-employment lift evaluations, and pre-employment DOT drug screening.

Responsibilities

Take the wheel of a tractor trailer, navigating the roads while ensuring timely deliveries of our diverse product range, including meat, produce, frozen goods, and more.
Manually unload products using a two-wheeler on metal truck ramps.
Operate in full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Create a positive experience at each customer site.
Perform pre-trip inspections.
Verify invoices.
