Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CDL A permit.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be able to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards to meet hiring and insurability criteria.
  • Strong comprehension of basic warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Physical agility is key; you'll frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction during deliveries.
  • Ability to maintain balance and coordination while maneuvering a loaded two-wheel cart down ramps.
  • Regular attendance is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Manually unloading products using a two-wheel cart on metal truck ramps.
  • Working diligently in the truck's cooler and freezer sections.
  • Checking customer invoices.
  • Completing essential temperature checks to guarantee the quality of our food products.
  • Performing safety inspections of the truck and trailer.
  • Establishing effective relationships within the department and community.
  • Working towards setting the stage for your driving knowledge and skills as you prepare for the Class A license test.
  • Taking on additional assignments as directed by management.
