About The Position
Land & Sea Provisions is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver Assistant to join our team for the summer season. We distribute premium ingredients - including truffles, caviar, Wagyu, and other specialty products - to some of the top restaurants in Boston and the surrounding area. This is a fast-paced, active role for someone who enjoys being on the move, takes pride in great service, and wants a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary world.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working early-day shifts and staying active during the workday
Responsibilities
- Support lead drivers with daily delivery operations
- Loading and unloading premium food products
- Assisting with deliveries to restaurants and commercial kitchens
- Verifying orders for accuracy before and during delivery
- Handling products carefully and professionally
- Providing courteous, reliable service to customers and team members
- Helping keep delivery vehicles and work areas organized
