About The Position

Colours, Inc. is a leading distributor of automotive and industrial coatings, providing products, training, and service to customers across the region. The Driver safely, accurately, and promptly delivers automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers, including body shops and industrial facilities. As a company representative, the Driver maintains professional customer interactions and ensures products arrive in excellent condition.

The role also supports warehouse operations as needed, including receiving, inspecting, stocking, organizing, picking, packing, and preparing customer orders. It includes maintaining delivery and inventory records, inspecting the vehicle, following safety regulations, and assisting with other store duties during driver downtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous route delivery experience.
• Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
• Punctuality, dependability, and ability to work independently.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
• Attention to detail when verifying orders, loading, and completing delivery paperwork.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to route or delivery schedule changes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse staff, dispatch, and customers.
• Ability to work well in a team and assist with warehouse operations as needed.
• Comfort with basic technology tools such as handheld devices, routing apps, and delivery logs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to customer locations.
• Verify and accurately load customer orders using invoices or packing slips.
• Unload deliveries at customer sites and ensure products are delivered in good condition.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and other required delivery records.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including stocking, picking, and packing.
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations and policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Colours, Inc. professionally and courteously.
• Perform other store duties as assigned during driver downtime.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming products while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
