Requirements

Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation and food safety regulations is required
A passion for leading, coaching, and training others while providing an exceptional customer experience
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
Willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development

Nice To Haves

Experience as a deli, kitchen, or restaurant supervisor is preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare food according to operational standards
Provide assistance to Deli Department Manager as needed
Ordering and receiving deli products and inventory
Ensure Cold Deli Department is properly cleaned and sanitized
Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
Prepare special orders as per customers request
Team Member training and coaching to achieve operational standards
Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
